Indigenous cultures suffered from uneven development and vast socio-economic gap by the political, economic and social change in Latin America.
In Latin America where indigenous peoples lives comprise almost 10 percent of the population. Among all the countries of South America Bolivia (63%), Guetmala (42%), Peru (25%), Ecuador, Mexico covers large number of indigenous population. Major features of indigenous cultures:

Practice of horticulture
Pastoral, hunting and gathering activity
Generally majority of the indigenous population continued to live in their common and traditional units across the countryside. They also share distinct languages.

It proved equal representation in one house of Congress
The Great Compromise created the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives would have representation based by population which was good for large large states with lots of people. The Senate had equal representation from every state no matter the population. This helped the small states such as New Jersey. New Jersey was glad that there was a house of Congress that was based on equal representation.
