The pre-Columbian civilizations of Mesoamerica had in common the grade of advancement in the agriculture techniques that allowed them to farm the fields and grow crops to feed their families and trade with other tribes. Another commonality is the many gods the used to worship. They were polytheists.

Pre-Columbian civilizations differed in that not all were fierce warriors such as the Aztecs. They conquered many territories and forced them to pay tribute.

Among the most important pre-Columbian civilizations, we have the Toltecs, the Olmecs, the Aztecs, Mayans, and the Zapotecs.
