Answer:

distance when the weight is 8 kg is 26.66 cm

Explanation:

given data

distance d2 = 10 cm

weight w2 = 3 kg

weight w1 = 8 kg

to find out

distance when the weight is 8 kg

solution

we consider here distance d1 when weight is 8 kg

so equation will be

d1/d2 = w1/w2

d/10 = 8/ 3

so d = 8/3 × 10

so d = 26.66

distance when the weight is 8 kg is 26.66 cm

What happens to an object in free fall in earths gravity?
dolphi86 [110]
Depending if the object is alive it would explode because theres oxegon in the blood stream and without oxegon in the atmosphere then the living would explode. When if an object like a bballoon has oxygen in it to which means it would explode to.what I'm trying to say is that anything with oxygen would probably explode in the atmosphere which would mean that I have a hypothesis that anything else would float that doesn't have any Oxygen.

From the formula for Electric Power, P = IV,    P = V²/R

So the 100W compared to the 50W.

From P = IV. From the equation there is a direct relationship between P and I.  More  Power P means more Current, I.

From P = V²/R. From the equation, there is an inverse relationship
between P and R. Therefore  more P means less R.

So from these assertions, the answer is:

(1) less resistance and draws more current

A bicycle pump contains 20 cm3 of air at a pressure of 100 kPa. The air is then pumped in a tyre of volume 100 cm3. Calculate th
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

The pressure of the air in the tyre is 20 kPa

Explanation:

The parameters for the bicycle pump and tyre are;

The volume of air contained in the bicycle pump, V₁ = 20 cm³

The pressure of the air contained in the bicycle pump, P₁ = 100 kPa

The volume (available) of the tyre, where the air is pumped, V₂ = 100 cm³

Let P₂ represent the pressure in the tyre after the air is pumped

By Boyle's law, we have that at constant temperature, the volume of a given mass of gas is inversely proportional to its pressure;

Mathematically, Boyle's law gives the following equation;

P₁ × V₁ = P₂ × V₂

∴ P₂ = (P₁ × V₁)/V₂

Substituting the known values gives;

P₂ = (100 kPa × 20 cm³)/(100 cm³)

∴ P₂ = 100 kPa × 1/5 = 20 kPa

P₂ = 20 kPa

The pressure of the air in the tyre = P₂ = 20 kPa.
