What is the maximum power transferred to the load resistance under conditions of maximum power transfer?

Physics

Answer:

When RL= RTh

Explanation:

Interestingly the maximum power transfer theorem simply implies that if the value of load resistance is equal to the value of the source resistance we would obtain a situation where the power transferthat the load will be of maximum value.

Remember that It is only when the load resistance is equal to the source that we can achieve maximum power transfer. Note also that resistance here refers to the degree to which a circuit prevents the floor of electricity through it.

A skateboard with a mass of 4 kg is moving at a speed of 10 meters per second on a level surface. It encounters a hill and rolls
telo118 [61]

Answer:

vertical height = 5.1 meters

Explanation:

M = 4 kg

V = 10 m/s^2

Based on the law of conservation of energy, energy can be converted from one form to energy.

Calculate the kinetic energy of the skateboard.

Kinetic energy = 1/2 * (MV^2)

K.E = 1/2 * ( 4 * 10^2)

K.E 0.5 * 400

K.E = 200 Joules

According to conservation of energy, Kinetic Energy = Potential Energy = 20 joules

P.E = Mgh

200 = 4 * 9.8 * h

h = 200/ 39.2

h = 5.1 meters

Think about Redi's experiment described above. It was one step in building cell theory. What aspect of cell theory did Redi's ex
Vika [28.1K]

Answer:

A. All cells come from pre-existing cells

Explanation:

Francesco Redi's experiments aimed to test spontaneous generation, where life could emerge from non-living things. His first round included two groups of jars with raw meat in it. He covered one group with a thin cloth, allowing only air to get in, and the other group was left open.

In the jars left open, he noted maggots were present and the one that was covered contained no maggots.

The results indicated that the maggots only formed because flies laid their eggs on it and maggots developed. He did note that some maggots developed on the cloth itself, but on the outside.

Thus, he contributed in disproving spontaneous generation by showing that maggots only developed from the eggs that flies laid. This supports that all cells come from pre-existing cells.

You know your mass is 62kg but when you stand on a bathroom scale in an elevator it says your mass is 77kg what is the accelerat
Shtirlitz [24]
The bathroom scales showing a mass of 77 kg implies that 770 N of force is being applied on it.

620 N of that is by the virtue of weight of the man. The rest 150 N of force which amounts to an extra 150(62) = 2.4 m/s^2 of acceleration is being provided by the lift.

Since the man is applying more force than on the floor of the lift than he normally would have, we know the lift is accelerating upwards.

The acceleration of the lift = 2.4 m/s^2 upwards
