Two circular coils are concentric and lie in the same plane. The inner coil contains 120 turns of wire, has a radius of 0.012 m,
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

5.152 A

Opposite to the inner coil

Explanation:

\mu_0 = Vacuum permeability = 4\pi \times 10^{-7}\ H/m

I_o = Outer coil current

I_i = Inner coil current = 5 A

N_i = Turns in inner coil = 120

N_o = Turns in outer coil = 165

R_i = Inner radius = 0.012 m

R_o = Outer radius = 0.017 m

Putting the magnetic field as equal we have

\dfrac{\mu_0I_iN_i}{2R_i}=\dfrac{\mu_0I_oN_o}{2R_o}\\\Rightarrow I_o=I_i\dfrac{N_i}{N_o}\dfrac{R_o}{R_i}\\\Rightarrow I_o=5\times \dfrac{120}{165}\times \dfrac{0.017}{0.012}\\\Rightarrow I_o=5.152\ A

The magnitude of current is 5.152 A,

The direction of the current is opposite to that of the inner coil as they have opposing magnetic fields

Infrared radiation from young stars can pass through the heavy dust clouds surrounding them, allowing astronomers here on Earth
Semmy [17]

Answer:

\lambda=6.83\times 10^{-5}\ m

Explanation:

Given that,

An infrared telescope is tuned to detect infrared radiation with a frequency of 4.39 THz.

We know that,

1 THz = 10¹² Hz

So,

f = 4.39 × 10¹² Hz

We need to find the wavelength of the infrared radiation.

We know that,

\lambda=\dfrac{c}{f}\\\\\lambda=\dfrac{3\times 10^8}{4.39\times 10^{12}}\\\\=6.83\times 10^{-5}\ m

So, the wavelength of the infrared radiation is 6.83\times 10^{-5}\ m.

What is a reason for the increased number of drug resistant bacteria being found in hospitals?
kirza4 [7]
Actually it all comes about when we fail to complete certain doses of medication prescribed by doctors, for example, I have typhoid and I am given medication to help kill that bacteria I take half a dose and decide that I'm okay and the other half I discard it what happens is that the ”partially” killed bacteria now recognizes the drug I am using and adapts itself and its offspring to be resistant to that drug
Hence it is actually because of uncompleted medication

Gabe is sitting in his boat and sees a famous building onshore which is known to be 250 meters tall. gabe sights the top of the
Rina8888 [55]
If we connect Gabe's current position to the top of the building, to the bottom of the building and back to Gabe, we form a right triangle with the height of 250 m and the angle opposite to the height being equal to 19°. If we let x be his distance from the building, we use the trigonometric formula,
                               tan 19° = x/250 m
The value of x from the equation is 86.08 m. Thus, the answer is 86.08 m.
