If a cell lost its ability to perform cellular respiration then after some time the cell will eventually die.

Explanation;
Cellular respiration is the process which takes in nutrients and uses them to create energy in the form of ATP, which is used by the cells to perform their activities. Therefore; the main purpose of cellular respiration is the provision of energy to the cells which they need to function. Therefore; if a cell lost its ability to undertake cellular respiration, it means that energy wont be generated , and thus, cellular activities will not take place and hence the cell will die.

Answer:

To turn sugars into energy

Explanation:

\bf{ \underline{ \large{Functions \:  of  \: Mitochondria}}}

  • Mitochondria are main sites of aerobic respiration. They are miniature biochemical factories where food stuffs are completely oxidised to carbon dioxide and water.
  • The energy (ATP) produced in the mitochondria helps to perform various energy requiring processes.
  • Because of the formation of ATP in mitochondria it is called power house of the cell.

\bf{ \underline{ \large{Functions \:  of  \: Chloroplast}}}

  • Photosynthesis: Light reaction (in thylakoids), Dark reaction (in stroma).

Sulfuric acid is A. involved in bioleaching.B. produced by unicellular sulfur-oxidizers.C. produced by Lactobacillus.D. a result
Naddik [55]

Answer:

Option E, involved in bioleaching AND produced by unicellular sulfur-oxidizers.

Explanation:

Sulfur-oxidizing bacteria (both unicellular & colorless) are responsible for oxidizing the inorganic compounds thereby producing sulfuric acid. when bacteria and fungi are used for extracting pure inorganic substance from its raw ore, then this process is called bio leaching. The net product of any such process in most of the cases is the pure metal in form of sulfate and sulfuric acid.

Option E is correct.
